Overview
The present invention relates to a Smartphone or other suitable handheld device based automated attendance system using wireless network and bio-metric scanner. The system uses the existing wireless network to triangulate the location of a user Smartphone. After the successful triangulation to the desired location of the Smartphone at the desired time, the Smartphone user is authenticated by an intra-net portal using Smartphone’s camera for face scanning and recognition for real time presence and authentication.
