Overview
The present invention relates to a compact dual band microstrip patch antenna using glass-reinforced epoxy resin composite material connected to co-planar ground plane for IoV applications. The antenna is preferably wheel shaped with a number of slots and stubs within it to keep the impedance value in between the impedance value of air impedance and input impedance therefore increasing the load. This present dual band patch antenna targets IoV to facilitate mobile communication for high bandwidth data transfer for vehicles.
