Overview
The present invention relates to a novel hand held micro-electrode sensor based on micro fluidics and label free impedance spectroscopy for the detection of adulteration in milk. The sensor is fabricated on a plastic board with gold electrodes using conventional lithography methods. The estimated response time of this sensor is less than a minute. The device requires only 0.2 ml of the sample to give response within 10 seconds.
