Overview

The present invention provides a novel method for the preparation of composite structure containing nanocellulose and nano/micro graphite flakes embedded PCM composite for solar thermal energy storage. The composite structure comprises organic / inorganic hydrated salt; nano-cellulose and nano/micro graphite flakes for thermal energy storage applications. The composite structure of nano-cellulose plays a vital role in prevention of super cooling and stabilization of the inorganic PCM, while the nano-/micro- graphite flakes provide enhanced thermal conductivity as compared to PCM alone.
