Overview
The present invention relates to the low cost simple method for the synthesis of thin silver nanowires (tAgNWs) by wet chemical route in presence of CTAI. The synthesized tAgNWs shows good aspect ratios and in the range of diameter 20-50 nm as well as the length in the range of 15- 20 µm. The synthesized silver nanowires have to be promising candidates in flexible electronics. The synthesized silver nanowires (tAgNWs) also exhibit unique properties like high conductivity and low-cost with respect to ITO.
