Overview
The present invention relates to a novel method for synthesizing flexible multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) foil by dispersing highly purified MWCNTs at a concentration of 4 mg ml-1 in tetrahydrofuran (THF) without addition of any surfactants. The suspension is cast on a clean glass surface and dried at 60°C in vacuum to obtain a uniform foil. The suspension is cooled down to room temperature and then the whole CNTs foil is peeled off from the glass surface.
