Overview
The present invention provides the ionic salt reagents for preserving the DNA in parafilm wrapped eppendorf tube at temperatures above the freezing point of the preservatives for extended periods of time, including upto one year. The product developed, does not involve any expensive material or storage conditions, but preserves DNA in ambient temperature for an infinite period, in a solution which thus dispenses the need for alternate freezing and thawing of DNA.
