Overview

The present invention discloses a method for developing a transducer matrice based on conductive copolymers. The transducer matrice is used for the development of amperometric cholesterol biosensor. Enzyme immobilization on the copolymer based matrice for the fabrication of biosensor is by entrapment technique. The polypyrrole co-polymer films is electrochemically prepared onto (Indium Tin Oxide)ITO coated glass plates in a three-electrode cell containing pyrrole in p-toluene sulphonate (PTS) solution.
